Overkill II -- What's New?
This file has been created as of 6/24/90
(NOTE: Bugs corrected are assumed fixed.)
Bugs fixes/modifications: .96ß

-Bank loan minimized to 3 days on payback -- immediate interest charge
-Constant algorithm for recruiting stats at 59
-Re-roll option taken out. Commit suicide if you don't like your character
-New Base security, shields, and defensive guns armed optional on Bases now
-Staff room deleted -- useless, no internal player editing
-SysOp is now "human" -- no more super powers (such as the on-line editor),
so the SysOp can play as a legal player
-Base defenses against the use of dynamite and hacking access codes
-Night Report for Base Owners if Base is attacked
-Combat Accuracy attribute added for results of your hits/attempts in combat
-Action combat for Long Range combat
-Use Medical Kit in Medical Center now -- can't "buy" hitpoints back
-Disease Department now open in Medical Center with Vaccination treatments
-Combat Accuracy now in the Top 10
-Able to contract diseases from opponent when fighting
-Disease effects now working (moving/combat)
-Long range action combat now needs more accuracy to hit
-Key pad directional keys converted into N)orth, S)outh, E)ast, W)est display
-Combat action faster at higher levels
-Giant Roaches now have exteremly high hit points
-Steal inventory displays "0) Nothing" if camper has no equipment
-Curing/Vaccination prices lowered
-Only level 0 players now protected from attacks/steals -- level 1 vulnerable

-OOINFO.EXE program now used. Replaces all past convertor files
-Code completely restructured -- may be slower, but more memory efficient
-New Registration handling process
-Addition of BADNAME.DAT file (avoids trashy names)
-Game files created upon exiting OOCONFIG.EXE
-"Use Fossil?" bug fixed in OOCONFIG
-Node detection with OOIINODE.DAT file. Only one player may access the game
at a time
-Drop Carrier bug fixed - saves files and aborts program immediately

-Hydrites stealing negative crystals, again -- assumed fixed
-Acid Rain reduced from 7 x 7 to 5 x 5, semi-brain disabled
-Dynamite continuing to blow up Base after using dynamite against items,
starting off with only 1 piece of dynamite
-Base codes messing up when entering initial code -- fixed --
Owners need to reenter all base codes!
-Battles in Hydrite Prison sometimes not working -- fixed
-Hydrite Soldiers's bravery set to 100%
